You only have to spend about five minutes around Pastor Oliver to get the message that it is OK to be excited about Jesus. Because this man of God is just bubbling over with enthusiasm for the LORD. Personally, I get excited myself just talking to him. His wife of almost forty years, Sister Corncie Oliver is his complement. Subdued compared to her husband (everybody is), she has the heart for a special kind of evangelism - the quiet one-on-one ministry. For this purpose, God has given her a gift of discernment and sensitive empathy that reaches across barriers as only God's love can.

It takes courage, time, hard work and tough faith to start a small church. And it takes lots of love, love for the people that God loves and cares about so much, loves for the people that God wants to reach out to, to comfort , to encourage and to draw close to him.
